Good software.
Built in layers.
This is an early desktop project, not a released email service. Here is the current direction.
The mail foundation
React/Tauri desktop shell, encrypted SQLite storage, OS credential-store boundaries, safe plain-text reading, local drafts and outbox foundations, bounded IMAP metadata sync, SMTP submission, cache policies and full-text indexing.
Tests use synthetic messages. A 20,000-header sync/restart scenario has passed locally; reference-laptop performance and real-server interoperability remain release gates.
Connected conversations
Gmail OAuth/API, multiple accounts, conversation threading, reliable folder actions and attachments. A rich composer, signatures, local templates and reviewed per-recipient mail merge follow.
Calendar and invitations
Google Calendar and CalDAV, local calendar views, structured invitation parsing, conflict review and explicit confirmation before creating an event or sending an RSVP.
Optional on-device AI
Summaries, reply drafts, Polish/English translation and action items. Model compatibility, licensing and CPU performance must be verified before release. No model is bundled or running in the current preview.
Reliability comes first
Windows installers and signing, signed update testing, accessibility, provider verification requirements, recovery, privacy network tests and reference-device benchmarks.
