STRIPS/flow for Android

The same workspace, in your hands.
Choose Light, Dark or Follow system in Accounts → Appearance. Android shares the desktop’s slate and lime palette, white or blue-grey message surfaces, familiar message cards and launcher icon, with navigation adapted for touch.
Mail, with room to focus.
Connect multiple IMAP/SMTP accounts, browse folders and conversations, and keep downloaded mail in an encrypted local cache. Compose, reply and forward with attachments and signatures. Focused and Other views help organize your inbox; drafts and the outbox support interrupted connections.
Your accounts, across devices.
New in 0.0.3: Received accounts open immediately for import, with one clear account-selection screen. No need to find a second review in Settings. Confirm the matching security code, send from desktop, then choose Import selected accounts on Android.
Transfer selected account settings between desktop and Android using encrypted pairing or an encrypted transfer file. Review accounts before importing. Password transfer is optional and requires unlocking the source device. OAuth accounts need sign-in again on the receiving device.
Account transfer copies connection settings; it does not copy your mailbox history. The receiving device downloads mail from your provider. Android can now export optional saved templates in compatible encrypted transfer files, as well as import them. Review the template counts and explicitly choose whether to import them. Direct QR pairing transfers account settings only.
Keep your calendar close.
Connect a CalDAV calendar and browse cached events in agenda and day views. Calendar invitation responses and Google sign-in on Android are still in development.
Install the preview
- Download the APK on your Android device.
- Open the download. If Android asks, allow this browser or file manager to install this app, then return to the installer.
- Open STRIPS/flow and add an IMAP/SMTP account or import account settings.
This is a direct APK download; the app is not currently distributed through Google Play. Future preview APKs must use the same signing identity to update this installation. If you previously installed a developer debug build, Android may refuse to replace it because its signature differs. Keep any needed local drafts or settings before deciding to remove that build.
What to expect
This is an early preview, tested with synthetic provider fixtures and an Android emulator. Physical-device and live-provider acceptance remain in progress. Gmail OAuth, widgets, on-device AI and full desktop feature parity are not yet available. Background checks and notifications depend on Android permissions and battery settings.
